The Summary
I am a seventeen year old who has spent the last two and half years living in Guadalajara, México as a missionary. I spend far too much time on the internet reading Jon Acuff's brilliant blog, Stuff Christians Like, chatting with my buddy Adrian Rodriguez or tweeting until everyone knows what insignificant thing I am doing during the day. I am currently enrolled at a private school here in Mexico as a Senior, after high school I am off to an unknown college where I hope to study Computer Science.
The Name
DeGraffenried, seriously? Who does this guy think he is? Zane? What kind of names are those? Let alone together. Sheesh, what has this world come to? Okay, I'll be serious, my real name is Zane DeGraffenried. I'm cool with the Zane and even the DeGraffenried but its hard for people to get by that last name. DeGraffenried, it is thirteen letters long- thats quite a hurdle. I am still proud of the fact that I could spell it in kindergarten. I have a challenge for anyone reading this. If you can without cheating*, say my last name correctly on the first try I will buy you some tacos here in México where I live. †
